Friday report
Mar. 9th, 2018 10:51 amI have not made any big changes (it's tax time, and 3Rs reorganization time) but I did get 35 Nero Wolfe paperbacks pulled and ready to take to the B2P workroom. There were books behind them, and I pulled a few of those. There was space; I looked through some of my stacks of books and put some in the back space, with notes on LibraryThing, and put a mixed group of paperbacks on the front space for further consideration. Making it easier to see the books goes a long way in making decisions.
I am going to a talk by Elizabeth Bear at the A.I. section of Engineering Open House this afternoon. I do not know what she will have to say, but she's worth hearing. I will also get to see who else would go to a talk by her. I am always looking for people to talk with about my favorite sf authors.

Date: 2018-03-10 03:11 pm (UTC)E. Bear was very interesting; she talked about the history of A.I tropes in science fiction, and named several books I did not know about, so I have a reading list.

Date: 2018-03-10 02:38 pm (UTC)I finally got out into the garage for 10 minutes. Nothing has gone "out", but I was able to move things around to make a lot more space to work, and pull out a few more things to throw into boxes ready to go to the tip.
