How goes the decluttering? Have you shifted anything out of the house? Found something to sort through? Had thoughts on things you can let go of?

At the beginning of the cold weather, I pulled all of my long sleeved shirts to one end of the hanging rod, and did the 'coathangers around the wrong way' thing. I made a good faith effort to wear everything, and get rid of the one or two that didn't feel right any more (I've been doing enough weight training that some of my older shirts no longer fit my upper arms, which was a great disappointment). The weather is now warming up, and I made a last ditch effort through the week to wear the last three. One of them I did, and the other two I picked something else each time, so now they are in the 'rehome' pile (that will happen in six months, because no point in dropping them to the opshop now).

sorted my fabrics and finally got some storage solutions that work with it!

Packing and planning for packing for a move is bringing up lots of things that I know I need to go through to declutter, but I'm procrastinating on just to get the packing done!

So I'm looking forward (?) to going through things as I unpack next month.

I'm all in favour of doing the decluttering while unpacking, if you have the luxury of packing everything up. House moving is hard enough without trying to work out what to do with all the 'extra' stuff!

Donated a package of incontinence pads and planning to clean out some drawers so I can store some sweaters properly. I also need to clean off the top of my dresser for my annual audio media listening review - especially to find out if the cassettes are still in decent condition.
