Saturday Report

I missed my Friday report - I was distracted by the need to make a list and notes of book topics needed for Central Illinois prison libraries. That took a lot of thinking.
I am continuing to investigate the books in the back row of my south wall bookcases. I am entering books in back row into LibraryThing; I will leave the front row for later because I can see them when I am prowling for books to let go of. I pulled 3 out of the back row I worked on yesterday. Today's back row is scifi and fantasy anthologies, from the 1970s to the 1990s. I had not read them in a long time, but I am not ready to let go. I found C.J. Cherryh's The Sandman, the Tinman, and the BettyB in DAW's 30th anniversary scifi anthology, and it is waiting for me when I finish this. I left a space on the shelf for the book when I finish the story.
I have not doen much item disposal this week; I failed in my efforts to keep the table near the entry clear, but I am at least clearing it every weekend. After I finish the story I will work on that. Small stuff, but regularly done, helps a bit, although emptying space, like book shelves, is the most satisfying.
