I spent Friday buying a new pair of glasses to act as a backup pair. I usually have one to stash away when i get a new pair, but the ones I am now wearing were bought because the frames of the other pair with a recent prescription broke and were not repairable. So I have had this pair for at least 2 years, they have wire frames, and I tend to push them up on my head when doing close reading, so the chances of damaging them are not small. I got a prescription from my opthamologist in March and finally got round to looking for new frames. That's been done, glasses ordered, and they should arrive in a week to ten days. So no clutter clearing there. I did look in my storage drawer for glasses, cases, and ID carriers and pulled out a couple of cases that seemed superfluous, and ugly.
Most of the week was spent on fiddling and reorganizing on the new computer. There is still a lot to do. I had a great many bits of fanfiction on the laptop that transferred to the new computer, and I copied all the semi-organized fanfic on my other laptop so I have most of it on this new big screen. There's a lot of duplication, organization that is of mixed logic, and too many folders called some version of Fanfic ( I count 7 on the desktop alone. There's more in the Documents. Of course, as I look through all this and try to make organizational decisions I also have to do a lot of reading; some stories I do not remember at all, and others pull me in to re-reading them. It all takes time.
