Running total: something

I am now in my temporary place, so I won't be actively decluttering--in fact, I am having to get lots of household stuff that I left behind with my boyfriend. I had some more outs before I left but accidentally closed that document, so I have no idea what my running total is (negative something, not counting domestic stuff acquired for new place).

So my new goals for this year are not to clutter up my new place and to work on destashing--doing projects with the many craft supplies I brought with me (1/4 of what I brought was kitchen, 1/2 crafts, 1/4 everything else *g*). So I'll start posting here again in 2011 when I resume decluttering my permanent residence! Thanks for all the support, and I'll stick around and comment.

Time spent looking longingly at pile of things to sort whilst I'm meant to be working: far too much!

RL has not been great, but I'm relieved to say that I've still managed to continue to move things into the leaving pile.

3 containers of fabric conditioner (for some reason if I put it in my washer it jams up and overflows, so I’ve given it away rather than taking up space for any longer!)

One of the reasons I've been able to get rid of so many books is that I've decided that rather than try to sell the huge amount of accumulated children's books on www.greenmetropolis.com where I've had them listed for the last few years and very few have sold, I will give them to my sister and nephew as he is now reaching an age where he'd like them. Greenmetropolis has been great but over the years I've sold very few children's books and with increase postage costs, it's harder to make it worth while as I had reduced most of them. At least this way they've gone to an appreciative home.
