What have you found to rehome today?

I took the several bags of plastic bags to the recycling at the shops, so I'm very happy to have them out of the house!

Star and I uncluttered the kitchen. \o/

Several tools, unused objects of various types, and various mystery things out. Several more are slated for replacement and a shopping list made.

The spice storage and cooking supplies have been organized and the size of spinner required to access the stuff on the high shelf determined.

I'm getting ready for my yard sale next weekend. I have tons of my late mom's stuff in my basement to sell, donate, or otherwise get rid of. Since holiday decorations have not sold at most of my previous sales, I'm putting those in boxes to donate. I found four more boxes of Halloween/Autumn decorations, another box of Christmas decorations (I thought I had already donated all of those), and I lost count of how many boxes of Easter decorations there are. Once my sale is over, I will be loading up the back of our SUV at least once a week with stuff to donate.

I am amazed at your mother's dedication to holiday decorations! I hope the donating of them has gone smoothly.

I sold something on ebay! And mailed it off. Mailing it cost more than I thought it would so I'm barely making a profit but! It's out of my house!! I'm also weeding through my kid's clothing a little at a time. The bag with the discarded stuff is on the enclosed porch, making it easier to grab it and go next time we borrow a car.

Yay for the eBay sale, boo to the mailing costs. I swear, I would buy more from people on eBay if postage wasn't going to eat so much of my budget.

Good forward planning on the putting the discard clothes where it will be easy to get them out of the house when the opportunity presents.
