Weekend uncluttering
How goes the uncluttering this weekend?
I did the seasonal clothing swap today, and gave myself the challenge of only putting away what would fit in the suitcase I've been using for years (I also had a 100L plastic tub, although it wasn't full). Much sorting later, and I have a box of clothing for the op-shop. I've also included the baby sling I've been hoarding for years (youngest is 14; my nibling, who I babysat as a Very Small, is now at school).
I did try and get rid of the box as well, but partner scotched that.

I've sold a bunch of books and sorted out some more to take to the shared shelf tomorrow.
Go you for letting go of items you've been keeping for a long time! Sentimental things are the hardest for me.

Good work on selling the books and identifying more to go. I used to find books very hard to get rid of, but I've got a lot better about it now I've realize I have books I'll almost certainly never open again. I agree that sentimental things are hard, though.

I try to focus on whether I want to read the book again in the future. I do find it hard but I have piles and piles of unread books so keeping everything is not an option.

Today I finished another book in my "reading non-fiction every day" project. It was a very long book so, although it was a fairly light read and I enjoyed it a lot, I feel like I've been reading it forever! I'm going to pass that on to my sister, as I think she'll enjoy it (and then she can eventually pass it back for me to donate it). Also more progress on (slowly) improving the garden.

Well done on the finishing of the book! I sympathise on books that seem to take forever to read. I've a few of those, where I can't read a lot at a sitting, so it just drags out.
