  I checked expiry dates on things like sunscreen, hunted for empty/mostly empty bottles and tossed anything I couldn't remember acquiring recently

Oh the bathroom shelf *gah* I close my eyes and whistle when I think of what's there and in the drawers. Well Done you for tackling yours (shall I let you loose on mine too?)

I knew I had empty bottles there, so I just told myself that collecting those up was going to happen in between an evening shower and evening yoga. And since most of the stuff I brought home from my trip was makeup/skin stuff, I set a goal of trying to throw out as many things as I'd brought home. I was surprised at how easy it was to reach my goal.

And then, since I'd had a (manageable) goal, I let myself be done, and feel successful.
