Today I should have been doing mostly studenty things but I got frustrated and turned to tidying and decluttering to ease my frustration. It's really very theraputic.

I'm also feeling pleased I worked out a. where all my socks had got to (that would be the broken drawer leaking socks out of the back) and b. a way to fix the drawer and separate the things I keep in a way which should prevent the same thing happening if it happens to break again. Uses of slightly broken cardboard boxes and otherwise useless small plastic boxes ftw. No need to buy new things with which to organise.

Old total: 44 items down

IN: Nothing

OUT: 1 x body spray I'll never use
2 x t-shirts I've altered too much to bin
4/5 x tops to charity shop pile
5 x socks/underwear to bin
1 x end of roll of sellotape I used to fix the drawer under my bed
1 x box full of cardboard/paper to recycling bin
1 x doll (old and sort of broken)

New total: 60 items down (I'm pretty sure that's 5 tops in that pile)

Sneaky socks, trying to escape!

Funny how de-cluttering leads to all sorts of other small fixes.
