Weekly (ish) check-in

How goes the decluttering? Have you shifted anything out of the house? Found something to sort through? Had thoughts on things you can let go of?

Comments open to locals, lurkers, drive by sticky beaks, and anyone I've forgotten to mention.

Congratulations to everyone who has found and/or disposed on any clutter in the last week!

ps. I'm going to be a bit sporadic for at least the next month; please cheer along others in the comments!

I persuaded a friend to take me to the tip, so have cleared out about three months of paper, card, glass, and plastic - and about a year of broken electrical items, lightbulbs, pressure canisters, etc. Very excited!

That's brilliant, well done on getting things cleared out!

Another bag went to the charity shop on Friday - DVDs, some clothes, and a pair of boots that I haven't worn in years but are still in good condition. I really need to start tackling the loft but I think I've reached a time of sitting and thinking about the stuff that's remaining and reassessing from where we are now instead of where we started from.

I'd like to find a place to store the InstantPot in or near the kitchen, but that is definitely going to mean clearing some more things out, so I need to think about what those things might be.

I signed up for the city to come get my broken dishwasher and then was too physically tired to move it outside by myself. Oops?
