Next I'll hit the VHS tapes...
Out:
30+ old cassette tapes
1 (broken) cassette Walkman
I don't know why I held on to these for so long! The Walkman, my last cassette player, broke about three years ago, but I kept thinking maybe I could get it fixed. These are my very last cassette tapes, and it feels like the end of an era. It really does feel good to finally get rid of them, though!

These are mostly mix tapes made for me by other people, so there is definitely some sentimental value to them. (I feel like I spent two years dating John Cusack's character from High Fidelity, so I had a ton of mix tapes.) I know that I'll never listen to them again, though, so it doesn't make any sense to hold onto them as they deteriorate. Once you take the plunge, all you feel is relief!
