Weekend uncluttering

What uncluttering have you achieved this weekend? Big or small, every thing is progress.

I found a pile of patchwork squares that someone had given me (or possibly I had bought, but I have no memory of this). Four packets of 25 pre-cut 5" squares. I've started two projects with them - one is going to be a lap quilt for me, and I'm just throwing three somewhat random colour ways together. The second is making a small pink ballet themed lap quilt (or slightly larger, depending on what fabric I have to make borders with), because one set was all pink and or ballet. I don't know any small ballet students at the moment, but I'm sure I can find one.

I took advantage of having to be at work all day on Saturday to tidy and wipe down my desk and set up the table I use for student meetings so they can plug their laptops into a screen.

I bought four empty spice bottles to work on getting loose bags of spices off my counter. And I also bought a little shelf-thing to put spices on so they're not all over my counter. I'm not quite sure of the whole set-up yet, but it should keep my counter from being as cluttered, I hope. ^^;;

I bought a spice rack a few weeks ago and have managed to slightly declutter my work surface. Being able to see the herbs & spices really helps.

I had picked up a bunch of frequently-used spices/herbs on clearance a few months back, but they're all bagged. So they've just been piled up until now. ^^;; Being in jars and sorted nicely should help me and get them used. (And I just think rows of spices are visually appealing. We'll see how I do~)

Managed to wrangle the laundry room/pantry so that I can actually reach things in it!

I sorted several bags of clothes into stuff Pa may need, stuff I can give to Bro and stuff to donate. The donatikn bag is in the car and the rest are waiting for my next trip north.

I have hung up two voiles to cut the glare in my bedroom and thrown away assorted pieces of polystyrene.

Currently trying to wrangle photos and pictures that need framing and unite them with frames.

No major decluttering last week, but I did deal with various small accumulations and clear off surfaces, with things going where they belonged (including a bit to trash). So everything looks better and calmer!
