Mid-week uncluttering

What have you found to rehome today?

I hope you are doing better than I -- if I've moved anything out of the house, or even staged anything in the last two days, I've completely forgotten it. However, I'm feeling okay about that, because I've been moving stalled things off my to do list, which has been eating up my time/energy. Also, late Sunday night I had a burst of energy, and rearranged (some of) the linen cupboard, finding several things that can go in the process, so I feel like I did a week's worth then!

I have a box of my grandmother's paintings ready to send to my cousin. I hope she and her family can find a few to enjoy and preserve.

My plan to get rid of two now-read-non-fiction books was scuppered by the book donation bin not being in the car park where it's supposed to be! I'm hoping they just took it away to empty it and will have delivered a new empty one by the time I visit that car park again next week. If it's gone for good, I'll have to find another option.

However, I did pass on at least a dozen second-hand gift bags to a friend who uses a lot of them (and who probably gave me 5 or 6 of them originally), which means I might now be able to store my gift-wrapping stash in a smaller box!

Yes, clearing at least some of the to do list counts as decluttering to me. It astonishes me, although maybe it shouldn't, how long things can stay on it before they are ever done or just deleted in the next list.

Yes, indeed! 'Clear out my inbox' being one that is perpetually on my to do list. And one of the things that I always find in stashes of paper are incomplete to do lists, where at least one of the items is still valid.
