mid-week uncluttering
Have you found anything to declutter today? What about Monday and Tuesday?
I've managed to put one shirt in the op-shop box, after I put it on and realised I hate the way it feels. I wasn't sure why I hadn't been wearing it, but now I know!
I've also earmarked three jumpers to go. One has given me a lot of rash on my forearms the last few times I've worn it, and I'm wearing it in preference to two others. So today, I took advantage of a sale, bought two that fit like the irritating one, and once I've washed those three, out they go.

I've identified a couple more things that can go, but I couldn't fit them on my bike, so they'll have to wait until I can walk them round on Saturday morning.
I am also dipping my toe in the local Freecycle group. So far the person who responded really quickly to claim some frying pans has been very slow to actually collect them *sigh*.

Freecycle is great, when it works. I haven't managed to get back in to it since our local ones all moved to Facebook, but I really appreciated being able to rehome things that I couldn't get rid of any other way.

I also went through some stuff in my basement. I still have a lot of my late Mom's stuff stored there and I'm trying to get rid of it all. I would like to have another yard sale sometime before it gets cold, but the holiday decorations didn't sell at all in my previous sale, so I'm donating those. I've already donated her massive collection of Christmas decorations. I wanted to donate the Valentine's Day and Easter stuff this year, but my family spent the whole month of February sick and then recovering in March, so I never got to box it up and donate it, so that's for next year. But she also had tons of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and general Autumn decorations too, so I just got those all together and hope to donate them to the thrift store around the corner next week.
