Mid-week uncluttering
What are you finding to rehome at present?
I ended up at work early on Tuesday, which meant I could leave early, and drop the large box of unused padded envelopes off to the friend who put their hand up for them! Tonight, I've almost accidentally rehomed a t-shirt and a house-dress to a visiting friend. Friend turned up straight from work to have dinner with us, and asked to borrow a t-shirt. When they exclaimed over one I pulled out, I realised that one that I had got in a 'grab-bag' that doesn't quite suit any of the household is exactly their thing, and it turned out to fit them nicely.

I donated 16 small books to my kid's school yesterday, as well as some other things they can use that my kids outgrew.
Two more shirts and a small water bottle went into the handmedown box.
Tonight I'll send a "care package" to a friend (she'll think it's funny, I promise) and I have two padded envelopes that can be recycled as soon as I take the labels off.. then.. I will have ONE envelope left. ONE. That's fantastic news because ONE left, and I haven't found anything to send to friends in a while.
None of this stuff makes a visual difference in my life, but I'm still happy it's gone!

I've put a few more DVDs and books to go (some unread.... This is a double achievement as I don't normally like to get rid of things I haven't at least tried to read, but the ones I haven't read are continuations of a series I've read the first two of, they were okay, but not good enough for the time and space they are taking up - plus I know somewhere they would be a better fit).

Go you for making the decision on the whole series from the first book, and passing on even reading those two books! I, too, really hate rehoming books I haven't read, so the fact that I don't make time to read at the moment is doubly disappointing to me on that front.
