Mid-week uncluttering

What have you found to unclutter, on this, the exhausting middle of the standard working week?

I report that I have finished not one, but two lots of fancy tea-given-as-present, giving me back one empty jar and a pretty tin to take to the op-shop. Also, used up tag ends of flour, although that counts less, as it has merely resulted in the purchase of more flour. On the plus side, I discovered idli rava, which is billed as rice semolina, and I have made a treasured dessert that I have missed greatly since giving up gluten containing cereals.

...and the ongoing paper sorting, although I have thrown out little, because I have been annotating the important pieces of paper for the taking to the accountant. I get that done, and I can book my trip to visit special friend in the Eastern States who is in need of a visitor to cheer them up.

I am also eyeing off a very pretty skirt that I have on display, which I will probably never wear. But oh, I love it so.

3 more packages to ship today! I have someone interested in a thing for sale who may be by tomorrow. I went though scrapbooking materials to throw away things I'll never use and will offer the rest to a friend tonight. I haven't decided what to do with whatever she doesn't take. I accepted that I will never use a certain box to ship things so I recycled it--though be sure that the padded envelope collection is well under control!

Spouse has been working through that huge pile of magazines. It's probably only 20 magazines right now but two have gone out this weekend. I don't think canceling the subscription is an option but making time to READ the magazines is.

I threw out an unused out of date diary, listed three books for sale and put another DVD to go. Also relegated a towel that no longer serves its purpose to 'rag' status, where it can fulfill a different purpose in life. I also added a pair of trousers that I don't like wearing to the 'to go' bag that will be taken to the charity store in due course (when I can get there during its opening hours - it's only open for a few hours on a Saturday and they often clash with other commitments, but I have an ever growing pile in the hallway to go when I get the chance).
