A few wins this week

• eldest went through the top of zer closet, found clothes and unloved toys to rehome (toys done, clothes to go) and papers to recycle
• youngest's old bed base has gone on the verge for bulk collection this wee, as a bit rickety and we haven't rehomed it elsewhere (not the best option, but gone)
• I've earmarked a (small) box of fabric that I'm never going to use - should do another pass through and see if I can fill it before putting it on the free list
• cleaned out under the bathroom cabinet - need to negotiate with kids on bath toys, but as they all shower these days, not sure.

Indeed! To make it sweeter, the bed has been collected from the verge, so I don't even have to feel guilty about not having made more of an effort!

Thanks! And I've tried really hard to not push kids to get rid of stuff - that was my mother's approach, and it backfired problematically, in that I now hoard certain things - so the fact that they occasionally freely sort things out is a great relief!
