uncluttering the garage

Last year, when the clutter Everywhere became too much to deal with, partner and I moved a lot of boxes and stashes of Stuff out to the garage, with the agreement that the car could live in the drive while we worked out what to do with the stuff. In the last week, I've reached the point where I have the wherewithal to start dealing with that stash, a little at a time.

Yesterday, I picked up a pile of trays and papers. The papers turned out to be butcher's paper, now too yellowed to use, and a large size padded envelope that had been slit along the side, thus not useable. These have all gone in the recycling. The trays (*2) will be wiped down and returned to use - I hadn't realised that was where they were!

Today, I've grabbed a small stack of CDs. Several are useful, and will be put away before bedtime. Three are being binned. [one is a copy of Norton Antivirus/Utilities for Mac OS 8.6 or earlier!]

Yay, you! Finding things I didn't know I still had that I missed is such a nice bonus.

Congratulations on reaching the point where you feel able to tackle the garage! I'm sure that doing what you're doing, of chipping away at a little bit every day or other day, will get it sorted out surprisingly quickly. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Well done! It's great to reach a point where you can tackle the next task - and doing just a little at a time stops it becoming overwhelming, but keeps you moving forward. Hope things continue to progress well for you.
