I've just started reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. She has a different take on organizing and decluttering than ones I've explored before: she encourages using feelings (especially joy) to discern what to keep and goes by category (ie: all the clothes) rather than space (bedroom separate from closet).

Rather than did it at one time (which hooks me into sentimental keeping); or will it in the future (which is scarcity thinking for me - might need it/find it useful someday).
