Daily Check-in

Hi Everyone!

This is your check in for Thursday 7th November. Have you found something to declutter? Made a plan that you can implement later? What is today's decluttering win?

Open to regulars, drive by commenters, and lurkers alike!

(note that superlatives are suspended for the next few days; once I can work out a sensible set of seven, I'll restart :) )

My house has always been pretty clutter free surface level, BUT it's because I shove everything in closets. Like to the point where I'd shove things in there and hope that I shut the door faster than it falls out, lol. So this weekend, my husband and I decluttered and purged every single closet in our house!! Everything is so organized!! We just plowed through it. Now to keep it that way!

I have put some Future Tasks into a calendar event so I can file the relevant documents instead of having them on my desk in a pile.

I've been helping the 'rents the last three mornings, so not much with my own stuff. I am slowly working in the kitchen, though.

I am recovering from a 3 day visitation of home improvement contractors, which resulted in most of my plastic storage boxes being rearranged rather randomly, and the loss of a small amount of previously usable floor space, particularly in my office. I hope to take advantage of this by getting rid of some of the things that turn up while sorting and rearranging.

There's been similar rearrangement in the basement, but I may not have the energy to do more there than make sure nothing's been placed where it will get damage in the event of common once-a-decade annoyances like hot water heater leaks.

So far today though, I'm just enjoying NOT having noisy construction work and strangers in my house.

Maybe I'll get to sorting when I've had some more coffee. Or maybe not.
