Weekly (ish) check in

This is your weekly (ish) check in for the second week of October. What have you done to make your space less cluttered? Anything, big, small, tedious, joyful, any of it counts!

Did you set a goal last week? Did you make progress toward it?

3 boxes of random things I certainly don't need went to Goodwill yesterday. I then acquired some more empty boxes. I expect it will take about 4 of them to contain my accumulated Great Courses, which have been quite literally gathering dust on the top of a book shelf. They were worth listening to once, but not worth re-listening. I optimistically acquired extra empty boxes, for things I haven't yet designated as surplus to requirements.

p.s. Using trash bags would be cheaper, but they tend to tear, so I prefer having a give away box rather than a give away bag. And having such a box available at all times makes it much easier to get rid of random things I just happen to notice, when not actively looking for things to get rid of.
