it's the weekend!
How have your weeks gone?
I made a start on the book I mentioned last weekend, and... then got to the front of another two library hold queues, so switched back over.
I also acquired Several Useful Things from a skip, which have not yet made it to their final destination (i.e. the allotment).
But! I have sown a bunch of seeds, including finishing several packets, on the grounds that they're already several years old and there is no point keeping partial packs of seeds that might not even germinate lying around. I wound up going through one of the boxes under my side of the bed yesterday, to get some fiddly wee screwdrivers out for my partner, and in the process went "... huh. I... really do not need this any more." about several things in there -- so they've been moved to recycling or The Waste Electronics Pile etc as appropriate! So: not nothing. :)

I have also been planting seeds and tidying up my basket of garden sundries ready for the new season.
The saga of the Charity Shop Donations continues! I discovered when I was planning to donate my next box that they were not accepting books, DVDs and CDs! However, I did have one box of donations that wasn't books, so I managed to get that donated.
I have now given up on trying to donate the rest of the books to these people and moved onto trying a different charity shop that's quite close to where I run a semi-regular errand. Not sure if I will make it there this week. (The weather forecast is not good.)
I did have a lot of success dealing with the random boxes of random stuff in the living room. Some things thrown away; many things put away in proper homes. So things are definitely looking better in there!
The stuff from the garage is now all ready to go to the tip but I'm not sure I'll make it this week, because of the weather and other commitments, and next week is also not going to be a good week for me to get there. But progress of a kind.
