Mid-week uncluttering

Any uncluttering to celebrate today?

I had an unexpected bit of decluttering, when that evil social media site I love to hate deigned to pass on a message from Friday. Not only did I get rid of the box of dead towels, but also two big bags I had no idea what to do with (think feed bags, but bigger).

Not today, but I got rid of the last batch of babyproofing items! My baby rose the challenge... sigh. But that drawer is easier to close now.

I talked to one of the kids to see why certain shirts weren't being worn--and it's an easy solution that takes all of five minutes, so now those shirts are being used, rather than taking up space in the closet.

Otherwise, it's more things coming in lately, but all of those things have specific uses. I am trying to be more picky when out in the world, buying things that have an immediate use, rather than "well, someday I could use this and it's a good price now." A good price now to store and trip over in my house? PASS.

Oh, nice going on getting rid of the baby proofing items, and on making the change so that the shirts will be worn. Is the kid sensitive to the feel of things in some way?

And I hear you on only having things coming in that are useful now. I'm ... not doing well on it, but better than I might be.

No, just picky on designs. I had an iron on design handy that was much appreciated.

Ah. Kids. I figured any day they left the house clean and in clean clothes was a win. Nowadays, they mostly take care of that themselves, although with five adults in the house, keeping the washing sorted is aaaaargh.
