'Weekend' uncluttering

How is it Monday? What happened to my Sunday? (I actually know the answer to that -- Youngest has had training camp for the last week, and it has completely messed with my schedule. I did however make it to bed by 9:30pm last night, and thus got most of a good night's sleep before getting up Far Too Early)

My today's decluttering is returning library books. I've reviewed them, and I'm sitting in the library waiting for them to call time so that I'm not tempted to borrow any more -- I'll return these ones as I go out the door. This is part of my eternal quest to get my 'currently reading' list down under fiveten books.

What about you? Have you managed something? Putting rubbish in the bin rather than leaving it out counts.

It was a productive weekend! Since Wednesday, I've taken a small bag to textile recycling, mended the mending pile (one pair of winter boots with small holes), and added a few more things to the handmedown piles.

Today I'll donate a small bag to a clothing closet.

This weekend I brought in some small boxes for Spouse to go through. Of those:
Two boxes were recycled
One bottle was emptied and recycled
One box drink mix was offered on FB and will be delivered today

There was more in the boxes I would have gotten rid of, but they are Spouse's things so I didn't push it.

Converting bedroom to computer room.

Managed to take Mom's old bed out of her former room. The mattress and frame are in the backyard. Hopefully the city will take the box spring tomorrow.

Our husky, however, isn't pleased about this since she laid on the bed whenever Mom used the computer.

That is quite the win! Did the city end up collecting the box spring?

Oh, well done on getting so much out. I sympathise on having to leave Spouse's things for Spouse -- I have to keep doing the same for Adult Offspring. And they veto about half of my stuff that I want to get rid of as stuff they are going to want 'later'!

Unfortunately, I set it out on the incorrect week, so they'll pick it up this Tuesday. I also put the mattress next to it.
