Friday Report
Not much uncluttering done this week. I have been working to get ready for the Books to Prisoners book sale tomorrw. It's a big part of our finances so it needs to go well. I have been setting up tables in the IMC sunroom, organizing the thousands of books brought up from the IMC basement, and I am exhausted. Some of my books are in that sale. so they are really moving on.
I am also collecting books for Illinois prison libraries, which takes energy and time. What we need most are complete fantasy series; I will probably buy some of the books. I discovered thriftbooks.com where I can get used paperbacks in good condition for less than they would cost via Amazon. I am working to get the Drizzt series by R.A. Salvatore; not my reading choice but requested frequently. These books for libraries are piled in my living room and in banker's boxes in the garage. I hope to get them organized and all stacked in order in the garage in the next few weeks. So far there are 10 banker's boxes for libraries, and I forget how many with my personal books that need to have decisions made. I am too tired to make any for a while.
Tomorrow I go to the book sale at 8 to do last minunte work until the crowds come in at 10.

And good luck with organising the books for libraries and making some decisions on your own books once you’ve had a chance to rest and recuperate from the sale (and given yourself a pat on the back).
