mid-week uncluttering

What have you found to rehome today?

I've sent off two parcels - one full of books, and one full of collectibles that were doing little but collecting dust. They will be appreciated by the recipients, and I have a clear patch on my 'to be rehomed' shelf (which I created as a space only a few weeks ago, and am appreciating). I also did a first pass through my LPs, selecting about 1/4 to leave. I need the rest of the household to go through and confirm, and I probably want to do a second pass through the shelf. I've also moved them to a different bit of furniture, in preparation for the previous one leaving. I'm using it as temporary storage for something else, but I'll get there. As these already have a recipient (a collector who will take them all, sight unseen) I'm pretty sure those will be leaving the house relatively easily, just as soon as my collector friend gets back to me.

Nice work on getting the parcels out of the door! And wow, the LPs sound like a big, scary project, so well done for tackling that. I hope the rest of the household don't want to keep too much of the "leave" pile.

My success in the first half of the week was remembering that I hadn't got rid of my old swimsuit when I bought the new one. (New swimsuit is with "things I'm going to take on holiday", not where the swimsuit normally lives, which is why I forgot one-in-one-out.) So that is going for textiles donation.
