Mid-week uncluttering

What have you found to rehome at this, the mid-point of the week?

I finally talked the kids in to getting rid of a colourful one octave xyplophone/piano toy that hasn't really been played with in a decade, and it has gone to a new home! I also managed to send the two DNFed Ruth Rendell books home to a friend's housemate -- I have no interest in knowing what happens to them next.

the change in seasons and sizes moved some clothes directly to the handmedown box, which is already half full. I wasn't expecting to get a single decluttering thing done this week, so that was a happy surprise.

When I dropped off library books, I dropped off the bag of toothbrushes (library has a community pantry collection box), dropped a bag of random clothing into a donation bin, and the stack of old magazine's to the library's free cart.

I got annoyed at a towering stack of books in my bedroom, off to the side, that I just was never touching and now they're lined up where I can see them easier and pick one out to read before bed. I'm also going to try to not always have a billion library books out and work on my own backlog because I probably won't keep a bunch of these once I actually read them.

I also started repotting plants and hopefully I can get a bunch done this weekend and if it's finally warm enough, I can take them to work to give away. If I can cut down on plants, I can get some of my dining room back. ^^;;

Some specialized dice and a pair of pants. I feel like this is small potatoes, but on the other hand, wow is it nice to be able to put just a few things aside, and slow down.
