How's the uncluttering going?
How's all that decluttering progress? What are you up to?
I'm on a go-slow at the moment due to time and energy, but on the positive side - it's not a stop.

I've decided my current focus is things that would otherwise be kept in the junk drawer. Clean it out! Now, this would be easier if the things were IN the junk drawer. Instead, they are scattered around the house, on a dresser or in a jewelry box or in a desk drawer or in a bowl. These include things like bookmarks I never use, pins I never use. It's the small things that I would have to move to get to what I want, but I'll never use the small things.

Sadly, most of them are either obnoxiously basic or obnoxious in other ways. Le sigh.
I got my computer set up on the new desk the night before leaving, and confirmed the router still gets signal to all the places it needs to from that location. That's something.

But it's organized mess now. When I'm done the pass I'm on, getting rid of the trash and recycles and bagging up the plastic grocery bags, I can figure out what to do with the rest of the stuff.

I've found two coats to take to the textile recycling bank. One is the coat I was mostly wearing, which has become tatty and not-really-respectable and is being replaced (for the next few months, at least) by a heavier winter coat that was lurking behind it in the coat cupboard. The other is a coat that I used to use when we walked the family dogs, which I think I'd kept because I thought I'd wear it when gardening. But I've been wearing another, lighter one, even in winter. So out they go!

The large box of accumulated cardboard Bits suitable for primary school construction projects went home with the primary school teacher; the Dalek inna box went home with the friend with the Doctor Who obsessed partner; the out-grown inline skates went home with the parent who conveniently is in the process of making good on the promise to get skates for the kid who has done all the tasks in earning them.
I feel like there may have been more, but whatever they were I've forgotten them.

I also deleted a few ebooks from my collection. I know it doesn't free up actual space, but that's 7 less books to try to fit into the TBR queue.
