Dying under a mountain of acronyms
OK, so hello folks, haven't seen you all in a while... I kind of fell off the Internet. Real life got in the way. Heheh. Hi. *embarrassed wave*
Anyway, I've just been rampaging through my wardrobe and I really needed to rant.
TWENTY MINUTES. TWENTY MINUTES of sorting through my drawers and I've discovered three feet (stacked height) of TTDFFMs1. There are some TIJDWMs2 too, but only 6" of them. Which isn't bad. I even managed two charity/recycling items.
But the thing is - ALL of the TTDFFMs are too small! Even shirts! My chest measurement's gone up from about 37" to 41"! That's RIDICULOUS! I mean I know I've been ill and I've put weight on because I'm too shattered to exercise, but - four whole inches of chest! What?! Seriously, *none* of that is muscle?!
And this is without even considering the contents of the BUS3 stash. WHen I go through that - which I will do shortly - I expect to recover at least a foot of horizontal length in BUSTDFMs4. And probably a fair few WTFDIBTs5 too. I know I'm going to have to start a SILAWNTOE6 stash but I'm really starting to think the Ebay Principle might apply to some of the shirt collection as well.
I'm going to have to buy some more storage boxes to keep this lot in, too, because I have *not* got the money to replace it again later once I lose weight. So that's at least two more plastic boxes taking up space in my flat as well D:
The thing that amazes me about all this, though, is that I'm *not* now having an epic fat day. Despite being single, gay enough to care about this sort of thing, and well aware that I own exactly five pairs of trousers that fit, two of which are godawful jogging pants. I wonder when I developed the ability to forgive myself for being ill...?
