The decisions have gotten easier for me over the years, but even so--I feel like something clicked this time, and I'm much more able to let go of unnecessary clutter (and worn-out clothing--seriously, buying new socks is a huge achievement for me, and it took realizing that I had about 3 pairs left because I'd tossed all the rest for being shredded).

And the more years you accumulate the stuff, the harder those decisions are. Every time I visit my mom I help her go through stuff....
