Daily Check-in
Hi Everyone!
Have you found something to declutter? Made a plan that you can implement later? What is today's decluttering win?
Open to regulars, drive by commenters, and lurkers alike!

My decluttering was small -- took two superceded pairs of glasses and put them in the box at the optometrist. Also binned one of the cases for being quite revolting; the other one is going to be used for protecting sunglasses in the car.
It is, however, a step on the goal of clearing things out of the front hall that have already been identified as clutter!

I put a bunch of stuff in the garbage/recycling and wiped down what was cleared off.
((I had been after chapstick, because the hospital was so dry, I think. I ended up pitching a ton of old chapstick and buying a new three-pack which should last a couple of years? One here, one at work, one in my bag?))

November is always my month to swap over my summer/warm weather clothes for cold weather outfits, so I suspect a few items will be retired. Possibly replaced, possibly not. And the bathroom - recently took a trip and bought too many mini-toiletries. There must be a shelter locally that would love to get them.
I wish everyone luck with their decluttering plans.

Younger Child has been growing again, so I have been culling the clothing in their room and hunting through the saved clothes from their older sibling for next-size up. I unearthed an entire box of tshirts and trousers that are already too small (oops). However, I've agreed with my SIL to send the lot to her for use by my niblings who are a couple years younger and who have also been growing.
So the next step is to find a suitably sized box and fill it up, and then sort out postage/collection.
Elder Child reached their apparent adult height a few years ago and so we are no longer filling up boxes with hand-me-downs from them, and in fact are beginning to quietly stash empty boxes in the back room.
