Today, we took literally everything off the kitchen island, and put it on the dining table. Then cleaned the counter, and started moving things back. There are still some things on the table, but it is so much better than it was!

We also moved a couple of boxes of 'can't deal with that' to the storage unit, and brought back four that have 'I could be using that' craft stuff, which I am planning to sort through -- using the same bit of table that is currently covered by things I should deal with.
