Friday report, about a month late

I have been doing bits and pieces of paper clearing, but not much it felt worth documenting. I have moved a few books on, but nothing felt like any kind of accomplishment or space creation.

I still have not done much, but just scheduled cataract surgery, on both eyes, for early September. This leaves me with June, July and August to clear things so I will be able to function with limited vision for about 2 months. I am very near-sighted; a 'special case' for the surgeon, and probably won't be able to do much computer work until I can be measured for new glasses, about a month after my 2ned surgery. All this will, I hope, generate new energy for clearing and decluttering. [personal profile] kalloway has some impressive posts and comments; they inspire me to move ahead, and to discard more rather than the 'keep in case' or 'keep to read when I think of it, which is usually only when I see it again' that usually results in not enough paper items leaving.

Onward!
