  <description>Posted by: &lt;span lj:user=&apos;yukonsally&apos; style=&apos;white-space: nowrap; text-decoration: line-through;&apos; class=&apos;ljuser&apos;&gt;&lt;a href=&apos;https://yukonsally.dreamwidth.org/profile&apos;&gt;&lt;img src=&apos;https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png&apos; alt=&apos;[personal profile] &apos; width=&apos;17&apos; height=&apos;17&apos; style=&apos;vertical-align: text-bottom; border: 0; padding-right: 1px;&apos; /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href=&apos;https://yukonsally.dreamwidth.org/&apos;&gt;&lt;b&gt;yukonsally&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My health has taken a turn so decluttering is no longer on the radar.&amp;nbsp; However, it is engrained so tidy a bit here and there as I move around the house, so worry not, my house will not suddenly plunge into the depths of a mess again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Maybe a slow descent instead?&amp;nbsp; Eh, I&apos;m sick.&amp;nbsp; Who cares.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Still, there are things I&amp;nbsp;can do to keep myself occupied in this homebound, locked down, covid state.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&apos;ve expanded the definition of decluttering.&amp;nbsp; Completing projects counts.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;nbsp;used up the last of some (non-preferred) soaps.&amp;nbsp; I&apos;m reading the books I bought with the intention of reading then giving away (so far, I&apos;ve only read most of one and decided against reading one at all).&amp;nbsp; I&apos;m trying to keep the pantry semi-organized so we can use what we have.&amp;nbsp; I cleaned the deck and cleaned out the planters for new seeds, in hopes the weather stays nice and we can hang out there.&amp;nbsp; I&apos;m using the pretty yarn.&amp;nbsp; I organized the school supplies for easier access as we embark on distance learning.&amp;nbsp; I did sell and ship one thing, with a prepaid shipping label so I could put it in my mailbox to be picked up.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;nbsp;plan to put together all the puzzles with the children to identify which puzzles are missing pieces and can be discarded. If I were more crafty that way, I&apos;d use those pieces for new projects, but I&amp;nbsp;know my limits and interests, those puzzles will be thrown out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Even though all the second hand stores are closed to all donations and I&apos;m not to leave the house in general, there are still things I&amp;nbsp;can do to declutter and keep my house a clean(ish) and peaceful(ish) place.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What homebound activities are you doing to keep yourself occupied?&amp;nbsp; Listening to all your music collection to see what you love?&amp;nbsp; Reading all those books you&apos;ve bought?&amp;nbsp; Organizing your crafting supplies?&amp;nbsp; Planting those seeds?&amp;nbsp; These projects are decluttering... they are using the things in your home, discarding the things you won&apos;t use or aren&apos;t useful anymore.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;https://www.dreamwidth.org/tools/commentcount?user=unclutter&amp;ditemid=207750&quot; width=&quot;30&quot; height=&quot;12&quot; alt=&quot;comment count unavailable&quot; style=&quot;vertical-align: middle;&quot;/&gt; comments</description>
