Weekend Uncluttering

What uncluttering have you achieved today?

I took a box of random Stuff to the op-shop. First choice wasn't accepting donations, so I took it to one I'm less keen on, but I'm okay with that as a compromise.

And I have sewn half a container full of fabric squares into the start of a really simple quilt. I'm thinking that what I'll do is make a single bed one and donate it to the local refuge. Because I *really* like the soothing aspects of sewing simple quilts, but I don't have a use for them, and I already have multiple incomplete baby quilts.

I used a plant potter that's been languishing in the garage--new plant! I don't have a good track record with keeping plants alive, so it's really anyone's guess as to how long until the planter is back in the garage, sans plant.

Added a few small things to the handmedown bin.

Donating a quilt sounds amazing. I used to knit baby blankets all the time and donated them. Then I knit hats and donated them. Just because I like the act of knitting. So I encourage you to donate your work! How lucky a person will feel getting a handmade quilt.

Good luck with keeping the plant alive -- I hope you enjoy looking at it (and the planter). :-) And good work on putting things in the handmedown bin when you realise it's time.
